Before Home and Away‘s James Stewart and Sarah Roberts tied the knot in a fairytale Ireland wedding last month, the couple enjoyed a secret ceremony in Sydney with their closest friends and family.
According to the Daily Mail, the ceremony was not legally binding, even though the actors exchanged vows and rings in front of their loved ones.
Sarah’s makeup artist, Laura Varquez, shared a series of photos of the couple celebrating their intimate day.

In one photo, the couple can be seen posing on a balcony overlooking clear blue waters.
James – who officially married Sarah in Ireland on July 23 – looked down at his new wife admiringly in the photo as she looked off into the distance.
In another photo, Sarah smiled softly in what appeared to be a silk, turtleneck white wedding gown.
The actress – who plays Willow Harris in Home and Away – hair was styled loosely and her makeup allowed her natural beauty to be highlighted.
Last month, in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by 25 of their closest family and friends, including James’ daughter Scout, the Home and Away couple were married at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland.
The couple revealed to New Idea they chose Ireland over Australia as Sarah’s brother and family live in Dublin.
Despite their efforts, the destination wedding was not easy to pull off.
Sitting down with New Idea, Sarah dished about all the details when it came to the wedding planning process.
“It was hard to put together because of the time difference from Australia to Ireland,” Sarah explained.
“We would go to work [on Home and Away] all day, and then come home and wait for the Irish to wake up so we could call and email.”
Jimmy – who plays Justin Morgan in the town of Summer Bay – added: “I don’t know how she did it!”
The couple appears to be totally in love and is enjoying their first few months as husband and wife.
Earlier this week, James took to Instagram to share a stunning image of Sarah from their wedding day in Ireland.
The photo was of Sarah in her Alin Le’ Kal beaded wedding gown, holding a bouquet of white roses.
In the caption, the 43-year-old wrote “Breathtaking” and added the hashtag “punching so far above my weight.”
