Popular newsreader Peter Overton has made a special appearance on his wife Jessica Rowe’s Instagram, and it’s all to call her a ‘cr*p housewife.’
In a short video posted to Rowe’s social media, Overton is seen walking through the couple’s home while telling the camera: ‘Do you come home to a cr*p housewife? I do, but I love her dearly.’
He continues walking into the kitchen, where Rowe is seen standing over the stove: ‘She can’t cook though…I come home at night and she think she has a great meal for you and usually its boiled water and a garnish of parsley, if I’m lucky.
‘Then if she’s putting on a romantic dinner, it’s burnt toast … she says that’s good,’ he adds, showing the camera a very burnt piece of toast.
The short video is all in jest however, with Peter pitching in to support his wife’s newest project – her very own lifestyle blog Cr*p Housewife, which sees Rowe share her thoughts, tips and views on homemaking.
Before launching her new blog, Rowe had never been one to shy away from telling it like it is.
Earlier this year the mum-of-two revealed to her Studio 10 that she had an unexpected bowel movement while in labour.
It’s Rowe’s honest approach to motherhood, as well as her no-nonsense attitude, that is going to make Cr*p Housewife a must read!
In January of this year, the media-powerhouses celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary.
They share two beautiful children, Allegra, 10, and Giselle, 8.
