Ladies and gentlemen, brace yourself for some very exciting news… Easter long weekend is right around the corner and that means the Sydney Royal Easter Show is about to begin!
We are here to provide you with all the most important information about Sydney’s biggest Easter event and help to make your visit as stress-free and fun as possible. With The Easter Show kicking off on March 22, it’s time to start getting into the Easter spirit and planning your visit!

The Sydney Royal Easter Show first occurred in 1823 and is now an annual show held at the Sydney Showground at Sydney Olympic Park. Over time, the name has been shortened and has become commonly referred to as The Easter Show or The Show. Next week, the 2024 Easter Show will begin, and run from Friday, March 22, to Tuesday, April 2.

What time does the Sydney Easter show open?
Gates to the showgrounds will open at 8:30 am every day.
- Livestock Pavilions Daily: 9 am to 7 pm
- ADVANCE Dog Pavilion Daily: 9 am to 5 pm
- Gong cha Carnival Daily: 9 am to 9:30 pm
- Farmyard Nursery Daily: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm
- Showbag Pavilion Daily: 9:30 am to 9:30 pm
- Heritage Pavilion Daily: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm
All other pavilions will be open from 9 am to 7:30 pm, except over Easter Long Weekend when they will remain open until 8:30 pm.
How much are tickets to The Easter Show?
If you purchase your ticket before the show begins, you will get an early-bird discount.
