Our four step Chilli Pork Rice Bowls recipe

TIP: You’ll find sambal oelek and chilli oil in the Asian food aisle at major supermarkets Sambal oelek can be replaced with any type of chilli paste or hot chilli sauce.

Method

1.

Heat a lightly oiled, large, non-stick frying pan over a high heat. Add pork. Cook, stirring to break up mince for about 7 minutes, or until browned.

Add capsicum and half the onions. Cook, stirring for 1 minute. Stir in combined sauces, sambal oelek and 1 tblsp water. Bring to boil. Remove.

3.

Meanwhile, heat rice according to packet directions.

4.

To serve, divide rice, pork mixture, pineapple, and cucumber among four serving bowls. Scatter over the remaining onions. Serve with chilli oil (optional).
